After Lust Stories 2, R. Balki is gearing up for Ghoomer. The upcoming film features Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher, Angad Bedi and Shabana Azmi. Now, the film’s first look is out.The first look from Ghoomer reveals Angad Bedi and Saiyami Kher’s characters who can be seen laughing together. The two seem to be decked up for a celebration. Ghoomer’s plot revolves around a paraplegic sportsperson played by Saiyami Kher. The actress was last seen in 8 A.M. Metro with Gulshan Devaiah. Meanwhile, Angad Bedi was seen in Lust Stories 2 alongside Mrunal Thakur in a short directed by R. Balki.
Opening up about the project, Angad Bedi said, “Balki sir has a knack to tell human stories, unlike any other filmmaker. He truly invests in writing in-depth characters and characters which are in tune with real life. My character is paired with Saiyami and has an endearing love story in this story of the human spirit. I think Balki sir and his team have done a beautiful job of putting together a film that will surely touch the hearts of millions”.
Earlier, in a Filmfare interview, Saiyami Kher shared her experience of working on Ghoomer. She said, “Balki sir is one of the most intelligent directors I have worked with. He is an absolute genius, and I have had so much fun working with him because you need to be really on the ball when you are working with R Balki. He knows the next 20 steps. For example, if you ask him a question, he has 20 answers. If you go to him with something, you have to really prepare. He is the coolest guy on set. He’s so non-filmy and easy to work with.”
